Why We Built This

The FMCSA's official SAFER system contains valuable safety data on over 2 million carriers — but it can be slow, hard to navigate, and difficult to use on mobile devices.

USDOTScore was built to solve that. We index the same federal data and present it in a fast, clean interface — so you can look up a carrier in seconds, not minutes.

Data Sources

All data is sourced directly from the FMCSA Open Data Portal Official Source, a public dataset published by the U.S. Department of Transportation. We use four primary datasets:
