About USDOTScore

USDOTScore is a free tool for looking up safety information on FMCSA-registered motor carriers operating in the United States. We aggregate publicly available data from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to make it easier for shippers, attorneys, fleet managers, and the public to research trucking companies.

Data Sources

All carrier data is sourced from the FMCSA Open Data Portal, including:

• Company Census File (carrier registration & basic info)
• SMS Output File (BASICS safety scores)
• Inspection File (roadside inspection records)
• Crash File (accident records)

Update Frequency

Our database is updated monthly using the latest FMCSA data releases. While we strive for accuracy, this is not official FMCSA data. For official records, please visit FMCSA SAFER Web.
